What are your favorite Too Faced Better Than False Lashes Combos? Do you use a different mascara-fibers-mascara? Ever try them with the ABH waterproof top coat? So far I really like using the base, fibers and TF Better Than Sex mascara. I tried it with my purple MAC mascara, and the only way I can see the purple is if I use the MAC, fibers, and MAC again. If I use the TF base then the purple doesn't show through. ~*~ Include pictures if you can please ~*~

I find the fibers get wonky and won't act straight, leaving me with lashes that look strange. I can take the tweezers and work them straight, but its work.
I love the immediate effect but they are so long they get smudges on my brow area. I haven't thought about the abh topcoat. I will try that!(I forget I have it)
I have tried armani eyes to kill with it and that worked great, and just using tarte primer then the fibers and that was good too. TF BTS is one of my HG mascaras.

Ohhhh I'll have to try just a regular primer, the fibers & then a mascara. Purple LOL, I love my purple mascara... but no volume I don't have too many issues with the fibers. I used to buy the MUFE when it was still available at Sephora stores. I usually wipe it on a tissue first (I do this with all mascaras) and then gently apply the fibers. I usually don't go to the tips, but just wiggle at the base. That way I get the volume from the fibers & length from all the layering.

Personally, I hated the Better-than-False-Lashes. I gave it a few fair tries, but every time it immediately caused my lashes to spike. And the more I tried to comb them out to separate them, the tackier the formula seemed to get.

I love the nylon fibers! I like to use Too Faced Better than Sex mascara as a base, then apply the fibers, then I top it off with Dior Extase mascara. My lashes are always soooo long and thick now! (Well, when I don't use falsies, because I'm currently obsessing over them. And they may sayyyyy better than false lashes, but, well...No.)

I use the Maybelline rocket volume as base, the the TF better than sex mascara. I tried the fiber one but I could literally never cover all the white before it started to clump (user error maybe ), but I do love the better than sex mascara. Just gotta be careful because sometimes it starts to get a little clumpy!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Attachments:

I eat fiber but am unable to use it in my mascara. Every type of mascara I've tried with fibers/tubing has irritated my eyes.

But if I use a different mascara on top then it doesn't happen.

I got a Too Faced one and thought I was gonna die when I put it on. I had to take out my contacts and wash off everything I'd done, and then I just laid in bed in the dark because of the irritation.

I learned the following tricks when it comes to tubing mascaras: - Take our your contacts first
- Use a primer/base under it.
- Do one eye at a time: apply, comb through, apply a second coat if able and desired.
- Don't use it on your lower lashes as it always feel gummy.
- Use a good brand. I was never a fan of Lash Injection. Blinc Mascara Amplified is one of the top ones; L'Oreal is a good drugstore one. I'll let you know how Clinique's Feathering and Cargo's versions perform

I keep trying lash fibers, love the idea! But they never worked for me. They get in my eyes, or they don't stick to my lashes at all and immediately come off! Not for me, unfortunately.
However, I do like to layer mascaras. First, one for length, then one for volume. I use a primer as well, I really like the Tarte primer, but just got the IT Cosmetics one and am playing around with that.
Some of my favorite mascara combinations are Maybelline Lash Stiletto followed by Too Faced Better Than Sex, Maybelline the Falsies followed by Jordana Extreme Volume, and Lancome Definicils followed by Lancome doll lashes.
Funny, I love Too Faced, but I think all of their mascaras are terrible, except for Better Than Sex, that's the only one I like!

Ohhh, okay. I did try it on my lower lashes, and I'll try taking my contact lenses out next time. I usually quite like Too Faced, but that was just no good for me. I've been wanting to pick up the Blinc though, so I'll at least give it a shot, and if it goes badly, I can always return it. The Too Faced came in my Bonjour Summer set that I got, and I was really looking forward to it, as it was my first tubing mascara. Thank you!

Ah - I had such problems with this mascara sticking together that I completely gave up on it. Didn't even think to use the fibers with other mascaras! Looks like I'll be experimenting tomorrow!

I don't really have any issues with fibers or tubing mascaras. I'm just not a big fan of tubing do to removal process- I feel like I'm tugging & pulling & rubbing my eyes too much, and they don't give me good volume. The more I apply, they just clump. The only tubing I ever had success with was TF larger than life, but it was an older formula. I stocked up on them since TF likes to change the formula of LTL every year or so, but I'm all out now.
For fibers, they need a base to stick to. So instead of applying base on each eye & going back & forth, I do one eye at a time of base & then fibers right away. I also find standing over a mirror & looking down as opposed to straight on, helps.

The Too Faced Better than False combo didn't work for me. I had a sales associate try it on me and I didn't see it make that big of a difference for my non-existing lashes.

I got the Too Faced Better than False as a gift for someone, i hope she likes it but now I'm worried.
I am a baby when it comes to mascara but used Blinc for a long time. It didn't give me huge volume but was perfect for work days. And you cannot beat how easy it is to remove. Warm water AND pressure. Combined.
The only reason I stopped using Blinc is when I found out you're supposed to throw out mascara every 1-3 months (won't tell you how long I had been using that one before I pitched it). I got lots of smaller ones in various brands. If they sold a mini set, like 4-5 smaller ones in a set so I could toss them earlier and not be paying $26 every 3 months I would totally go for it!
