Has anyone tried both? I love all of the Dior ones I've tried, but I'm a stickler for longer wear....is the Lancome better/the same/worse?

First answer- is no... I haven't tried both... yet, but I do have two foil samples of the Dior ones and own 2 or 3 lip lovers. If I get the drive to get dressed today, I'll try the Dior and post about it. I'm kinda interested too.

The Lancome ones are hit or miss for wear time. Violette Pirouette, for example, goes on sheer and the color disappears rather quickly. Rose Des Nymphes and Framboise Etoile have better opacity and last longer on me. I get better wear time out of the Fluid Sticks though, but they do transfer more easily.

Screw it. I'll get one of each for days off, when I have time for touch ups. But, I've def noticed I need to get in a bolder color to show up better/slightly last longer. Thanks ladies!

I tried the sample today in Pandore (I think). Eh... It's different then lip lover. It's more of a stain. It went on easy, but I didn't find it hydrating at all. The LancĂ´me one makes my lips feel better but they don't have the staining Dior does. I'll use the samples, but not sure I'll buy Dior.

How quickly things change! I went out tonight for dinner and used Mirage from the foil sample and loved it! It wasn't as drying and it's a nice neutral pink color on me. My hubby commented that he loved the color. So I bought it on Nordie's.

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk I had the same experience, used the Mirage from the foil sample and ended up getting it at Nordies. I also bought the tiny pink color from Sephora because I could not find it anywhere else.

i didn't love pandora either, but i did love vertigo. its funny, i think pandora sort of bleeds/feathers on me whereas the lighter/more subtle vertigo does not. either that or its just more obvious with pandora because its so bright red.

Yes ghkim, I think you're right. That color bled and feathered like crazy. I need to try the other sample colors. I haven't gotten around to that yet.

After receiving the Dior Addict Fluid Stick sample I went to SDM to pick up 575 Wonderland ended up picking up 479 Magquie instead. I am completely in love with this formula/packaging and foresee many more being added to my collection in the near future!!! I don't think I even want to try the Lancome Lip Lover! I'm running out a space

I still find them different; I have two lip lovers that are nice. I am in love with the Mirage color from Dior. I'm set on colors for the summer. In the fall, when I'm looking for nudes and browns, I'm going back to Chanel.
