I love exfoliating my legs before I shave, and I was using Flake Away by Soap and Glory. I just finished my tub, though, and I'm wondering what else is good out there? I'd like something with medium sized granules, that is oil based and a decent price. Ideas? Favorites?

I've been using Ole Henriksen's Rub N' Buff salt scrub after getting it in a set and have been really enjoying it. It's pretty gentle and smells like a margarita almost. It's $38, but comes in a 22 oz. tub.

I can't quit the scrubs from The Body Shop. So many delicious scents to choose from. I know the mango in particular is oil based and it has a perfect price for me: $20 for 7.4oz normally, but it's always on sale (40%, buy 2 get 1 free, etc.) I tried out flake away and was honestly eager to use mine up and get back to body shop scrubs.

The resounding positivity for this sounds like a winner

I love the OH scrub too. I got it in the Ole La La set at Christmas. It does smell like margaritas to me too.

I use one from SABON it is a boutique in NYC the one in delicate jasmine is wonderful. It's 33.00 a tub but is very pretty. I really like it a lot but it takes a week or 2 to process the order so you may want to call the store directly.

I do love Sabon, but it's just hard to get back in the west. Used to be a kiosk in Stoneridge mall and my friend and I shared the scrub. I usually just use a scrub of coarse sea salt from Trader Joe's and olive oil. Once my container contained peach fragrance from an old scrub, but somehow mixed with the olive oil, it smelled pineapple-ish. But that's a cheap alternative for DIYers. I also tried a honey scrub with brown sugar, but that didn't work so well...

I don't know if it is oil based, but I love the mango body scrub from The Body Shop. It is a sugar scrub that exfoliated pretty well. After some scrubbing the sugar melts and makes your skin so smooth. It also smells divine.

I've been using two scrubs that are pretty inexpensive: Bodycology Exfoliating Sugar Scrub (it has avocado oil in it) and The Skin Below The Chin (it has Moroccan oil in it). The Bodycology scrub is thicker like a sugar scrub and is carried at Target (it was $3.99 but last time I was there I saw that they almost doubled the price) and at other stores like Wal-Mart. The Chin Below the Skin is like an oil with some exfoliation stuff in there; this is carried at Rite Aid. Link to Bodycology: www.walmart.com/ip/34941696?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222227023847452&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=38497290301&wl4=&wl5=pla&wl6=68594224141&veh=sem I was unable to find the exact Skin Below the Chin body scrub that I got in Vanilla Cream scent at Rite Aid. It doesn't show on their website.

Depends on the scent. Some of them are formulated differently than others. They list the mango as oil based specifically!

I have been using body scrubs by bath and body works I love them! I used to use those! I've forgotten my roots. ^_^ I ended up grabbing the Ole Henriksen, but I may pick up a few BBW ones as well now that you've reminded me.

Has anyone tried the Golden Sugar scrubs from BBW? They're pricey, but when I tried on out, they felt pretty strong.
