Hey ladies, Since I'm having a lazy day, I decided to try the new Algae Brightening Mask I had ordered earlier this week (before the drama started). My initial reaction is that it's nice. I was surprised when I opened it and it was green; I suspected it would be white. It smells nice- not very fragrant at all. It went on really well; it has a little exfoliate in it. I'm taking that as a sign that I shouldn't use it so often because I use the Clarisonic everyday. I used it for about 20 minutes-(mostly because I forgot about it while looking at different threads here) it's recommended to do 10 minutes. When I took it off, my face looked good. Not sure I see brightening yet. My skin just looked good. I put on my regular day moisterizer; my skin felt a little tight. I think it's probably best to do this at night and use a thicker cream. It's been about 2 hours or so now; my skin feels nice, not dry, and also is looking really good. My husband asked me why I put on makeup if we're not going anywhere. So, I guess it works. I tend to do well with Algenist products, so I don't think it will cause breakouts, but time will tell. So far, it's a win for me.
If anyone else has used it share what you think!

I got a sample of that mask and I have SUPER sensitive skin I can't use any kind of masks unless there like the night time cream-lotion ones that you don't have to rinse off... But once I'm off the skin medication I'm using that a must have mask I will be purchasing! I got a very huge sample from my friend who works at a sephora and this was before the medication I actually used it everyday for a week and my skin was glowing and felt sooo smooth. I LOVE products with sea ingredients in them like seaweed/ algae extract and so on I feel they do a world of good for any type of skin. Hope you love it!!

Yeah! Another believer! I'm going to do it 2x a week for a while. Did you find it hydrating? I typically do a hydrating mask 2x a week; I'm figuring out how to do both... A mask 4x a week? Is they too much?

Thanks for the report! I've loved every product I've tried by this company!
Did the mask dry like the GlamGlow ones?

I've never used GlamGlow; they are expensive and I never heard it was worth it. I think I had issues with ingredients. Anyone else know?

I use a Origins Drink up. I like it a lot- it foes exactly what it says without causing skin issues.

I wanted to try this too and went to Sephora to ask for a sample before committing to it but they didn't even have it. The manager had never even heard of it!

I'd buy it and return it if you don't like it. I will be using it again tomorrow so I'll report back. I've used it once and no poor reaction. Algenist works so well for me!
