I'm looking for a great set of hot rollers. Does anyone have recommendations? Here's my ideal wish list:
- at least 8 medium / medium-large rollers (other sizes optional)
- small footprint
- clips that keep the rollers in place easily
- fast heating
- good for fine, slick hair
Okay - go!

Caruso professional rollers, molecular steam hairsetter with 14 rollers. I liked this set when I had long hair but haven't gotten to use them in so long!

lindenann, I love those long rollers! My hair always falls off the ends - something to consider. CJ, I used steam rollers in my early 20s and had completely forgotten about them. They curl very quickly, too, as I remember. Thanks, ladies!

I've had the Calista rollers on my wishlist for awhile as well. I still love my Caruso steam rollers. I've had them forever & they still curl so well.

Calista has my vote! I use the super long rollers for them and by far they're the best as I can finally use hot rollers and not just have the ends "slightly curled". They do have a 12 roller set for hair that isn't as long and let me tell you, they really do grip and get a hold on hair very well! Be sure each section you're rolling up is free of as many knots as possible before rolling. The clips are great because they're plastic jaw-clips with many teeth to ensure a good hold. www.sephora.com/ion-hot-rollers-short-length-style-set-P375425?skuId=1418466The shorter roller set is nice because it heats up all 12 at once. The long set that I have only heats 6 at a time, but they still do heat up pretty darn fast!
