So I have a few interviews lined up and am actively looking for a new job. Every time I do my nails myself or get them done, I get a sheer, natural color because I am afraid I'll get a phone call and don't want to have to take off my shocking blue nail polish and then re-polish them. So are there any fun colors that would also be considered ok for an interview? I like neutrals, but I'm just so bored with the neutrals already week after week....thanks

I'd say keeping it in the light pink family, or neutral brown or peach is a safe bet while looking for a job. Nothing too dark in any family; something that is very, very soft and neat.

hmmm....well, professional to me is different than what the employer thinks, lol. I have no problem with colorful nails/makeup, but I know employers do, so I guess I'm trying to get inside their head. Yea, light pinks and peaches would be nice....I do have a lovely peach that I haven't worn in a long time (A Crew-ed Interest by Essie). What do you think about soft pastels? Like lilac, mint, light baby blue? Too risky still?

The bank I used to work for never had a problem with nail color as long as it was nicely maintained (no chips). To be safe though I would definitely steer clear of dark vampy colors as was already mentioned, and stick with lighter shades of pink and peach. I think other pastels would be ok as long as they're the softer shimmery shades vs the bolder creams.

Yea, definitely no vampy-colors lol!
Thanks for your input, ladies! I'm gonna go through my stash and see what I can come up with.
