Hi! As I got more into makeup and skincare about a year and a half ago, I did a lot of research. I learned there are ways of testing products thoroughly without animal testing, and now I purchase cruelty free lines. I have nearly phased out everything at this point! My favorite brands are Urban Decay, Too Faced, and for skincare Dr. Dennis Gross. Feel free to say hi if you buy cruelty free! As a reminder, please DO NOT post images of cruelty towards animals. We all know why we are here.

I use alot of UD makeup and TF as well. Can you tell us some other brands? I've always been fearful to "google" it because I don't want to see the imagery. I can barely watch the ASPCA commercials...

Definitely visit www.phyrra.net/, a website dedicated to cruelty free makeup reviews, plus there is a whole page of companies listed who don't, and do, testing. It's a safe place to visit if you want the info without having to worry about disturbing images! I haven't seen one there.

I've been trying to buy more cruelty-free over the past couple of years. I've been phasing out what things I use that aren't, I'm still looking for a good setting powder that is. I love Urban Decay, Ole Henriksen, and Dr. Dennis Gross the best.

properlylost, you mean a finishing powder? (I never get the terms right.) I use the Urban Decay Razor Sharp UD setting power (happen to have a brand new extra, too) and also the Tarte one is really nice too. The Tarte one is white, the UD one is light beige but is a nice finishing powder, plus Bare Minerals Mineral Veil is always a good one.

I meant to get the UD Razor powder while it was in their clearance but I waited too long. I've heard their Naked Skin powder is good too. I'll have to check those out next time I'm in store.

My fave is Chantecaille at the moment there all natural brand has the most amazing moisturizers for my desperate face and they have helped working the one day I purchased them!! AND even tho there a very luxe brand they are actually decently priced like seriously decent considering the wonderful all natural no bullshit ingredients in their skincare and the amount you get I'm a jar! I'm on cloud nine with them right now so I HAD to give them a shoutout!!
