So the other day, my sad little haul consisted of just Lash Injection. I decided to give it a second try because I'm on the lookout for more good tubing mascaras, especially ones a little easier on the finances than Blinc Mascara Amplified is at $26.
It only took one day to see why I must not have like it the first time around: gummiest mascara ever. This thing caused my lashes to spider like a black widow. It took a lot of work to comb it out into more individual lashes--or at least smaller spider legs. I will say that once it sets it's ON until I take it off. But that's too much effort for most mornings, so back to Ulta it went.
Today I'm cleaning out my room and found a bag from a shopping trip a couple of months ago. In it is the large bottle of face cleanser I was looking for, cotton swabs and...a tube of Lash Injection. I honestly can't recall buying it, but it's there in the bag and there on the receipt. I really thought I had bought the Cargo mascara--that's what I had spent the last couple of weeks tearing my bathroom apart trying to find.
Considering that I returned the other Lash Injection yesterday, I feel weird about returning this one. Plus the return would be more than 60 days old, so if they did accept it (I'm thinking they may question it given I just returned one), it'd be store credit.
So now I have a tube of Lash Injection. I guess I'm giving this mascara a third and final try. Who knows, maybe that last tube was a bad batch and this one will be OK (I actually had that happen with Blinc Mascara once--I called to complain and got a replacement tube which was fine).
