I've been eyeing this product in Fig and Opal. They say it's waterproof, so it should be good for long days outside whether just walking around or at the pool. Has anyone tried it? What do you guys think of this color? Does it work like a normal cream blush? I'm thinking of getting it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Attachments:

I don't know. I have the Becca beach tints (in tube) in 4 colors already. I think Moonstone looks better on me than Opal and it seems most of the more interesting ones have Opal in them whereas the ones with Moonstone are more coral-based (which doesn't look as nice on my cool-toned skin). Some reviews say that some of the souffle colors are like very sheer blush--more shimmer than blush. I want more control over my shimmer, plus I have two HG ambient blushes, and getting a few shimmery The Balm blushes, and I'm thinking of passing on the Becca souffles. Temptalia reviews the Fig/Opal here: www.temptalia.com/becca-figopal-beach-tint-shimmer-souffle-review-photos-swatches

I may get it, and then return it if I hate it. I hate trying things at places; so many fingers... yuck! I read Temptalia's review; I like the way it looks on her. I think I'd prefer the gold undertones too. I really want it for times when I know I'm going to be outside all day; festivals, pool days, etc. and I still want a finished, but very natural makeup look. I can't wear powder in those instances; sweat makes it a hot mess.

I ordered it yesterday.... When I got the order confirmation, it said "permanently out of stock". So we'll see if I need it.

I'm so on the fence about these. I love souffle products (Lise Watier Ombre Souffle), but my skin doesn't really like cream or gel blushes. I can wear them, but since I have acne scarring, sometimes it'll move the base makeup so the scarring becomes more prominent. I can wear them, but it can be a lot of extra work to use.

kenny, I have a friend with the same problem; she says she uses setting powder before she puts on gel or cream products on her face. I've seen her do it before; it helps a little. I can still see some of her scaring, but I'm looking for it.

I can't wait to try these. The swatches are so pretty. I wish they would be back in stock soon.

me too! I feel like I was caught in a glitch... My order hadn't processed, which us odd. Typically I'd have an email about processing.

Well I was able to try on all of these yesterday at JCP Sephora (except the Papaya one, which looks way too orange for me so I didn't try it), and I'm glad I did so because now I know that none of these would work for me. The seem to have way too much shimmer and not enough pigment in them. I think HG Ambient Blush has a better mix and look, and even then, they could have added a bit more pigment and their blush would have been better too.
My feeling is that if there's going to be shimmer in my blush, it's got to either be subtle, or else it's something I add to a matte blush myself on the areas of my cheek I choose to highlight, which would not be all of the area I choose to apply the blush. So the souffle blush is a No Buy for me, which allows me to dwindle down my wish list and move on.

So I have bought 3, returned 2. I bought Fig/Opal and Guava/Moonstone, and Papaya Topaz. I kept the Papaya one because Orange does look good on me. The other two just looked like a shimmer streak across my cheek; like you said catbelly, there was no pigmentation at all to them. The Papaya one is also just OK. I wouldn't purchase it again. I don't know if I "love" souffle products yet; I may need to try them again and just pat it lightly and apply. I feel like I've wasted a lot of the product trying to work with it. The Papaya is a dark tangerine, so on darker skins, it'll be good, but on lighter skins it is going to scream PROBLEM. I'm kinda interested in trying the tube set; I'm not sure if I'm interested enough to try it on my "less buy". The idea is good, execution, not so much.

About the only thing I liked was the texture. But why Becca added so much highlighter and so little pigment is beyond me. If I were going to use the liquid Becca highlighter, I wouldn't use anywhere near the amount in one blush application. I still like the Beach tints, although you have to shake them because they separate a bit and when the watery stuff comes out, get rid of that and wait for some of the more solid stuff to come out. You would probably like the Papaya tint. I tried the Fig tint yesterday and couldn't even see it on me at all. There are a few coral type colors in that line that I think may appeal to you, but of course, try them first. I like the tints on lazy days when I don't feel like doing much makeup wise--just rub in a dab and I have a little bit of color.

I am glad I read this. I was debating the lychee/opal, but it is off my loves list now!

They don't sell Becca in store close to me; maybe in a SiJCP, but that's not close either. I will be at that mall this weekend maybe; I guess I could check.

so I have to change my opinion of this.... I actually like it a lot now. It's REALLY orange but that looks ok on me as long as I use it correctly. You need very little. It does wear well. I wore it yesterday for about 18 hours and could still see it when I removed my makeup. What was killing me was the application and understanding how much product I need. All I do is rub my finger over it and apply that much. I'll probably wear it all week. With this crazy humidity in Florida, this and CC cream are my friends.
