killahbabe, I used a sample of UD Naked Skin yesterday. The color was slightly too light; it went a little dray on my skin, but it felt AMAZING! And even though I could tell it was not the right color, I got several compliments on it! The sample was the 6.5; I think I need 7. I'm contimplating running out to Ulta tonight to get it.

I definitely think you should give 7.0 a try! The .0's are the warmer shades and the .5's are cooler, so I think 7.0 would be great if 6.5 was too light and a bit off on the undertone.

I got the right one! Turns out it's 9! That Pantone thing got it wrong. The woman at Ulta helped me out and it is a perfect match! Definitely needed warm!

sirenprincess thanks for the heads up on the swatches! I also have the Chanel Velvet in 10. I got the EF 101 and wow, it's so nice and a perfect match for me!

For those of you that have used UD Naked skin, would it be alright for combination skin? I've been using MUFE's HD foundation for a while, but it's not my HG and doesn't hold up well in the summer. Or does anyone have any suggestions for a good medium coverage foundation that has good range of fairer shades?

Or does anyone have any suggestions for a good medium coverage foundation that has good range of fairer shades? I have fair white skin with both pink and yellow undertones and I managed to find a perfect match! I have dry skin and it works well for me as long as I prep my skin. Give it a try though. I regularly receive compliments on my "skin" since I started using it.

I love foundation! It's so addicting trying new ones out. My HG for now is currently: -MUFE Mat Velvet - I love the coverage. It also stays on my face for 12+ hours and controls oil pretty freakin well! Very close to HG, but there's 1-2 issues: -Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua - I love how it looks like skin and evens out my skintone. The coverage isn't an issue for me because I don't always want a full-coverage look. I just wish it lasted longer than 5 hours for me -Wet n Wild Coverall Cream - Amazing coverage for such a cheap foundation. Doesn't break me out. The closest shade to my skin is a tad darker, but not that noticeable. My gripe with this is that it doesn't last more than 6 hours, but it's cheap, so I can't complain!

UD Naked Skin should be fine for combination skin, though you may want to include a primer underneath if your main concern is having it hold up in the summer. If you want more than medium coverage, however, its not the best choice. I find that it can rapidly look flat and lifeless if applied too heavily or in too many coats.

I don't want more than medium and I always use a primer so hopefully that'll work out. I'm going to go to try it out Monday and see how it does. The MUFE HD feels like it melts off of my face in the summer and I've tried their matte version and it made my skin flaky from drying it out too much.

I ended up trying out Naked Skin today in store and it is awesome! The 0.5 shade was perfect for me and it was just the right amount of coverage. I can see why some of you love it so much.

Ive been curious to try bare mineral's new "bare skin" foundation. I will admit their advertisement was REALLY persuasive, the model looked flawless and beautiful. I have never tried bare mineral's and have heard mixed review's about it. all I want to know is if its natural, furry-friend-safe and if you beauty's have yay'ed or nay'ed it.

londonlover101 i have the bareskin foundation and i really like it. i still want to try the ud naked skin but i'm going to stick with this for a while. The coverage really varies depending on how much you use. I find that i have to do 2 drops all over my face for a light-medium coverage and then let it sit for a minute before going back in with another drop of 2 for areas that need more coverage. it's very light and doesn't feel like i'm wearing makeup

sparklez thank you so much! that really helped, considering it says you only need two drops in the commercial I thought they were exaggerating but its nice to know that that is true. Thankyou so much <3

Kind of a highjack ... but has anyone figured out how to get the last bits out of a Guerlain foundation bottle? I can't remember the last time I loved a foundation so much that I wanted to "lick the plate". I have the Parure de Lumiere and am completely smitten

Even though I just got my LDP foundation with the BG GF, I know I'm going to get as much as I can out of that bottle! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
