Hi beauties!
Since I've started using liquid foundation, I've become very aware of the bumpiness of the skin under my eyes. It's nothing atrocious, but it's kind of annoying and I want to smooth it out. Right now, any kind of makeup that goes there exaggerates the bumps a bit.
Does anyone else experience this issue? Or maybe know what's the cause of it if it's not genetics? What products can help fix it?

I believe that is milia, they're keratin-filled cysts that a lot of people get caused by clogged ducts and sun damage can cause them too. They're not harmful at all. I've had little ones before near the corner of my eyes and used Ole Henriksen's Truth Is In the Eyes and it helped diminish them some.

I have some as well. My Dad has skin cancer, so I had my dermatologist take a look. He thinks mine as fine. Hopefully, yours are as well. If you are concerned, you could have a Dr. take a look.

I didn't think it was milia, but I saw someone say Clinique All About Eyes Rich causes milia, and that's the eye cream I've been using. Last time I went to Sephora, they gave me a sample of Truth is in the eyes! Today's the first day I'm using it, but I hope it helps!

If it helps, I went through an entire jar of All About Eyes Rich and didn't get any milia. But I didn't repurchase because my skin is ridiculous and it wasn't emoliant enough. >.>
So maybe if your skin isn't Sahara dry it causes milia?

I use the Ole Henriksen Eye Peel to help with undereye milia. I use it in the morning and at night and find that it does improve the bumpiness. If you do use it in the morning, it is recommended to follow with an eye cream with SPF. Ole H's Total Truth eye creme has SPF so that's the one I use.

I'm still continuing with the all about eyes (I have a hard time throwing things away) in the morning and using the Boscia Eye Brightener after. I started using the OH ultimate lift eye gel at night and not sure if it's that or the mixture of both OH eye products, but the bumps are going away and the area looks much smoother. thank you everyone for your suggestions!

Before that, I'd only tried the Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream and I thought both of these were not that great now that I've sampled others. I'm hoping to go through some of my samples to figure out what to get next, but chances are it'll be the Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream. It's twice the price of the Clinique, but I think it'll be worth it.
