Hey ladies, So I need to make myself feel a little better. Am I the only person who now has seasonal makeup? So, in the summer, I get alot more bronzed- even if I'm out for a short time. Some colors don't really work for me in the Summer; they end up looking really light and almost nonexistent. Do you have seasonal makeup? Darker when you're darker and lighter for the cooler months?

Well definitely for foundation! The new Terracotta Joli Teint from Guerlain has a warm undertone that I can only envision working in the summer or if someone lived in the tropics lol.
I love bronzer all year round, but I go for even darker shades in summer because in the winter it would look ridiculous. I get tanned in the summer naturally and I can pull off darker, more dramatic bronzer. I don't change my eyeshadow really. So for me it is basic things like bronzer and foundation that I go darker on. I know some shades are "fall shades" when it comes to nails, lips, etc. But I will totally wear dark vampy shades in summer. Just not as often.
Something about the summer brings out the golden goddess in me: I love bronzer, bronzey/gold shades on the eyes, golden lip gloss...lol.

I think this is happening with blushes for me right now. Ones that looked amazing in March are starting to look a little light now. I think I have to stick to the darker ones for Summer. I end up looking quite bronze over the summer, but I do use a bronzer. I did recently order the Guerlain one in #7; the one in the Sun Celebration palette I got is nice, but I'm about that color now. I just bought a new foundation from YSL recently that is a hair different than the UD Naked one I got a month ago. Both of them are expensive enough for me to keep and hope they work next year too. This is the first real summer when I'm trying lots of things, and I'm noticing differences. My husband thinks I just want new stuff.

well it is always fun to get new stuff! I haven't had that issue so much with blush. I just use Rockateur by Benefit and Dallas (which is a good year round natural flush color for me) and I have the HG one in Dim Infusion (the coral toned one). I do tend to gravitate to corals in the summer. I guess that is another summer color I lean towards.
