so, im on the hunt for a BB Cream... Or i was. I spent about 45 minutes at Nordstrom tonight testing EVERY BB Cream in the store and 98% of them were too light! The closet one to my coloring was by Dior and it was actually a shade too dark. Seriously the beauty industry forgets the customers on the light and dark side. I really wish brands would realize that there are others out here who don't fit into the norm. It can't just be me!

I agree. BB feel so nice on my skin but the color selection is really skewed. :/ Did you try Smashbox mrsbaine? Now that I'm tan it works well with my skintone (though it's still a touch too dark but nothing too drastic) I wear medium. Maybelline has REALLY nice BB creams (almost a gel-like consistancy) the shade medium is decent to wear during the winter but they all lean towards a pinkish tone and I'm on the yellow spectrum. <.<

Its a little light now since i have gotten a little darker. The dark is too dark. i wanted one for when i go to Florida next month- but no luck.

The Dior BB Creme is the only BB Creme that has actually worked for me. The Balm, Too Faced, Tarte, and Smashbox's 'dark' shades were so laughably light that I couldn't do anything with them. The Urban Decay one I haven't tried yet but I just kinda side eye because it's for shades '6-12', that's a seriously huge gap. No way in this world or the next it's going to work for me.

I know its a pain in the arse but how is the colour match if you mix the dark and the medium? I am on the fairer side but in the summer when I have a tan my freckles come out and most don't work, but I have to mix my shade with the shade slightly darker and it tends to work out well.

the Smashbox medium/dark is the closest match. I have to out a little liquid bronzer in there. I guess I'm bringing both to Fl.
