Has anyone else ever been chorus about this? I was talking today with another VIB who lives in the UK and she told me about her benefits. My jaw nearly dropped as I read them off. In case you can't read the picture it says: Whoa, that's all you get with an American membership? Here in Europe you get : - a 10% discount every 4 times you shop there, plus we get emails with exclusive discounts (20% or more) - offers where if you spend more than x online you get a bunch of samples - they do parties open only to Sephora Black and Gold members (not White) where you have discounts a d you can choose a bunch of freebies...it's good! I never buy anything full price at Sephora! I thought the US perks were way better! But as for the returns, I'm sure we can't return anything that's been opened. I never tried, here it's frowned upon to return stuff especially if it's been used. Now I'm curious as to what the perks are like in other countries as well . Attachments:

There definitely aren't any Sephora stores in the UK. I used to order online through Amazon or go to a department store (Selfridges, Harrods, etc...) As far as I know, the nearest Sephora is in Paris and I needed a separate account; they didn't recognise my North American Rouge card.

When I was in Europe, my VIB card did not work; I had to get a different one. They have different perks for different countries apparently.

I went and read the French site, it seems that these are the perks: - Every 150 points or 4 visits, you get 10% off
- 5 samples with any order
- VIB Black and Gold get private sales where they get 20% off
- Special gifts in store for Black and Gold
- Birthday gift for Black and Gold members. Ff you're Gold, you can choose anything you want up to a maximum value of 30 euros. If you're Black you get "special attention on your birthday" (not sure what that means).
- you get a special tab in your Sephora account that's called "my Playlist" where you get suggestions based on your purchases and if you have a Gold membership this is enhanced
- Every 1000 points you can chose a gift (I can't see the selection because i'm not Gold in Europe)
- Gold members can come in once a month to get an on trend smokey, glamour or nude look free
- Gold members get free 5 day shipping
- Gold get an enewsletter called "So Gold" which they hyped up quite a bit
There are also other vague promises about special exclusive offers and presents. To reach gold you need to spend €1,500 a year. I've attached a screenshot of the brands they carry if you guys are interested in comparing. Attachments:french brands.tiff (156.44 KB)

I believe so, instead of great perks, we have a generous return policy. It'll be the same when Sephora goes to Australia, but I do not believe they will use the US/Canada Beauty Insider program. They may use something similar to Sephora-SEA. This is Sephora-SEA (Southeast Asia: Singapore and Malaysia)'s program: loyalty.sephora-sea.com/sea_avantageI tried looking at Sephora Brazil, can't understand a thing. EDIT: I am looking at 2 of Australia's leading beauty stores: Mecca Cosmetica (basically a really small Sephora) and Priceline (Ulta, without prestige brands) Mecca's is shit, you don't get any perks until you spend $300, not a gift like Sephora and also no sample redemption. No events, I believe. Priceline's program is also similar to Ulta, but only one program. Conclusion: Sephora-SEA's Sephora White program or similar. May be Sephora White if Sephora-SEA opens a new store in Thailand.
