Hey Ladies! So I hate Monarch. It's a complete waste for me. I'm going to return it to Sephora; Nordstrom is literally right next door, so I'm going to go there and get something as a replacement. I have lots and lots of palettes; not sure if I want another one. What do you guys suggest? I seem to not be able to pick out lipstick correctly. I have literally 2 shades that I "really" like. YSL Rose Infinite and Clinique Voluptious Violet (Chubbie) I bought a couple of new blushes last week- MAC's Ocean City and YSL's #1 (I can't remember the name). What do you think?

Not sure if this is up your alley, but I know at Nordstrom Estee Lauder has a GWP with $35 purchase, and so does Philosophy. If you don't have some already, the EL Pure Color Envy lipsticks are awesome, and there's always the Bronze Goddess collection to check out. You can ask the SA at the Estee Lauder counter what shades of lipstick she recommends for your complexion! They're really helpful and awesome about that kind of thing.
Personally, though, I always love hanging out at the Jo Malone counter and sniffing everything.

GWP's sound right up my alley!!!! I have 1 Estee Lauder lipstick which is very similiar to the YSL one so I haven't used it; since I still have the YSL one. I will check out their lipsticks. I feel like I want a new blush- but honestly, what can I get that doesn't look like something I have? I've got HG Mood, and Diffused. I have OC by Mac, the YSL one and Ginger Pop. I guess you can never have enough lipstick.

I may look at the eye shadow. I have a couple of the YSL ombre, which I like. I haven't tried the Chanel ones. Thank you!

I'm glad you mentioned about the monarch palette, I was so close to getting it because I'm a neutral girl, but I've seen more "meh" feelings about it than good, so I think I'm gonna "LET IT GO. LET IT GOOOOOOOOO" Get yourself a fancy eyeshadow! Maybe burberry!

I have to say after using my Monarch palette last night, that I can totally understand why some people aren't loving this palette. So many of the colors are light and sedate. I'm keeping it in my case, only because I like neutrals and don't have that many that are shimmery like this without being too glittery. (I found the UD Naked palettes way too glittery for me personally, while the Lorac ones were too glittery and super drying on my eyelids.) But if I had more neutrals, or wanted to wear darker colors or more colorful colors, Monarch definitely is not it!

I'm glad it worked for you catbelly. I returned it- the SA's were shocked I wasn't exchanging! I went to Nordie's and got a new YSL lippie in a Rouge in Danger. This is my first red lipstick. We'll see how this goes! I also got the Chanel Illusion D'ombre in 90 Convoitise. I'm going to try it tomorrow and see how I like it on my eyes. I didn't try it on- my eyes were already done. thanks for a Enabling me GHKim! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
