I have recently started buying her brushes and have found them to be very hit or miss. In her regular collection, I like some of the black handled brushes (particularly #17 and #24) because they're super soft, have densely packed hair that applies powder products beautifully, and are inexpensive. On the other hand, her #1 powder brush leaves hair all over your face and isn't soft enough for my taste and her concealer brush is frankly sharp! I recently picked up the "Sonia Kashuk Limited Edition 15pc Professional Brush Set Celebrating 15 years of Award Winning Brushes" and again found it very hit and miss. The fluffy eyeshadow brush left lovely purple hairs all over my face, the small eyeshadow brush was deformed when I got it had hair poking in all directions, the contouring brush made me squeal with delight and the precision pencil which makes applying under eye shadow a dream. Would love to hear what you ladies have to say before trying out more of her brushes!

brie514, I also just got this. I had a couple deformed brushes--the concealer one and the small eyeshadow one. Those two I set aside for paint touch-up projects around the house instead of for my makeup. I do like the pencil one and the eye smudge one and even used the two fluffier blending brushes and they worked fine for my smoky eye and cleanup afterward. I also used the angled buffing one and that was okay, as were the powder and blush ones. But the powder/blush ones are a bit dense, so not sure how much I like them yet--the blush one wouldn't work with pigmented blushes like Tom Ford or Milani but rather the ones like Tarte. I used the angled buffing brush instead of the contour one for applying my liquid bronzer. Have you tried the contour one yet? I'm hoping that one works really well because I don't have any brush like that one already. I already own a white-handled shadow pencil brush of Sonya's and find I still really like it for applying powder shadow as eyeliner--works super well. I've heard/read that the white-handled ones aren't as nice as the black-handled ones. I had a couple other white-handled ones that didn't impress me that I discarded long ago. But the pencil one is still hanging in there--if you like the one in her new kit and need to work with more than one color at once, I recommend getting the white-handled one for your second one.

The contouring brush is my favourite. I find it better than the Nars Ita.... and I love the Nars Ita!

Salut I went to the one in Alexis Nihon. They weren't on display, I had to have someone go in the back and get it. May try asking?

I've tried most in this set and I'm not that happy with them. I have very sensitive skin and I'm probably spoiled by Wayne Goss, Hakuhodo, etc. The bronzer one (the one I really bought the set for) scratched my face so much--just way too dense for my powder, resulting in streaks that I had a difficult time buffing out, and in trying to fix this, that's when it got super scratchy. The powder and blush ones are okay for light usage or for cleanup before going out the door, and the eye ones are probably okay if I don't use them much (but count on them when I need them because of applying a bunch of different colors) but really, this was a purchase I probably shouldn't have done.

sorry to hear. I really love the bronzing brush because of its stiffer much more densely packed hairs. I find blending to be a dream and that I need to use much less product which helps stave off that powdery look I work hard to avoid. The eye brushes are "fine" for lack of a better word.
