So it's september.... I haven't gotten my August box yet. I finally got a shipping notice after I e-mailed them yesterday (still waiting on an e-mail back) I think Glossybox is also getting cancelled.

I got 2 boxes - I was supposed to use my points, they used my points for one box and billed me for one...then they told me I needed to be subscribed before I could use points...so they said I could use my points for September box - clearly they did not do this! I have never had an order go well with them!! And their customer service is terrible, although I find posting something on their FB works well (you have to comment on a post because there is no way to post something without commenting, and they don't reply to messages - I mean really, their CS sucks!)

After serial calls to their "Customer Service" department I finally get in touch with some guy who is in his house speaking to me on speaker phone explaining to me how shipping works, I cancelled the box. I don't have time for boxes being weeks late and getting products I honestly don't need anyway. After he explained shipping to me twice, he offered me 200 glossydots which, to me is useless and was shocked that I wanted to cancel since I had reviewed them so highly. I explained to him I don't like late boxes, and customer service departments who aren't properly staffed to pick up the number of calls they receive because their boxes are late... so he cancelled it.

Yea calling them doesn't work - I have found success on FB but it takes 2 days to resolve an issue - speaking of...my issue was resolved they are sending me September in addition to my 2 August's at no cost (DUH! - I didn't even want September, but whatever). If they are continually giving free boxes and points for their eff-up's I don't see how they can be in business much longer!!

This further validates me for cancelling after the BG box.
Going on their Facebook is kind of funny. SO many negative comments and issues. Which is a shame, it is a nice box overall if they didn't have so many issues.

When they did the mother's day boxes they promised them guaranteed delivery by that date and allll these people were commenting angry that they didn't have it. So as long as you aren't in a rush and it isn't a gift you are fine!
