So I decided recently to get more into indie brands, because they bring me so much more joy then regular makeup (because I can have shiny makeup and be a nerd at the same time).
Tell me what are some brands you have used and recommend? Here are the ones I know I will be making purchases from again:
~Sugarpill ~Concrete Minerals ~Shiro Cosmetics ~Geek Chic ~Aromaleigh ~Notoriously Morbid
I am also looking at Lunatik Labs, My Pretty Zombie, Medusa's Makeup, and Crush Cosmetics, anyone have any experience with those? I'm mainly interested in eye makeup but the buck doesn't have to stop there.

The only ones I've used that I consider Indie (but maybe they aren't?) are IT and MUG. I prefer MUG shadows to the IT ones, although I tried to carefully choose which MUG ones I got. I have enough MUG ones to fill one of the large Z palettes.

Medusa's Makeup. I just did a review for them on my blog, here. I loooove the pigmentation of their eye dust, and their lipstick smells like Starbursts which is just freaking amazing. Sunna Claore makes amazing lipsticks! They smell JUST like MAC, but are only about 10 bucks a piece, and have beautiful colors. I bought Spicy Rella, but I plan on grabbing up Instaglam and the baby pink one that I can't quite recall the name of. Geek Chic is awesome, if anything, because the names of their shadows crack me up.

Oh my, have you seen those Lunatick neon palettes?! I'm so drooling over them! But, I've heard they are very hard to work with? ( whaaaa?! ) You might be interested in this tips and tricks video by BiohazardousBeauty about getting the most from neon eye shadows, Lunatik's AlieNeon colors are included.

I've been on the site to drool repeatedly but haven't made the leap yet!

Let me push you over the edge on trying them, use tori20 to get 20% off. >_O I don't have anything but good things to say, so far I have bought the Sugar Skull and Naughty & Nice sets, and several greens during their St. Patty's days sale and I love them all. I definitely want more of their pro-matte colors, as I realized I have almost no matte colors (actual colors not neutrals). The shipping is pretty quick to, and the tins the sets come in are nice for organizing samples. Both of mine are full of perfume samples. XD

Doesn't really make me feel any better. If Tori has problem blending those, what am I to expect? But, I'll probably cave in, sooner or later ( they are just soooo pretty, I don't think I can resist! )... and then the fun will begin!

Medusa's Makeup just launched a Neon Warrior line, it might be a viable alternative?
